Website Content Makeover for existing Website
A Website Content Makeover can be used to increase your website's optimisation. Website optimisation involves the performance of your website in regard to both search engines and user interaction. If you already have a website that is not performing you may simply need a Website Content Makeover.
This is as easy as 1, 2, 3 ...
1. Website Health Check

An analysis of your existing website will be conducted to determine whether a Website Content Makeover will improve your website's performance.
The following areas will be reviewed in this analysis report:
- Ease of navigation
- Quality of information provided to existing and potential clients
- User interaction of your website, including a built in Sales Process
- Review of existing keywords (meta tags) and keyword description (meta description)
- Review of search engine positioning of key competitors
- Overall layout and functionality
If your website is using outdated technology, or if you are unable to access your website to make changes, It is best to find out at this early stage whether you need a new website designed and developed.

If your website's technology is suitable for a Website Content Makeover, a written report outlining the recommended areas of improvement will be provided.
2. Website Content Makeover
Optimising your website for both search engines and users involves the following:
Determine your website requirements - This will involve an intensive “brainstorming” session to map the contents of your website. This should take approximately 2 hours. During this interactive “brainstorming” we will look at the following areas:
- Formalise your Unique Selling Proposition and how you can use this to immediately increase your sales
- Understand the key areas of copy on your website and how to maximise your effectiveness
- Know which words to use and where so that your site is ahead of your competition
Suggested recommendations will then be made.
Development – meet with you to discuss the recommendations and the process for implementing these recommendations. At this stage focus will be on providing the key information that you need to get your website up and powering – fast.
A report will then be produced outlining the suggested content of the pages (including graphic suggestions), the page layout for each page, and the links required. A site map for the website will also be produced.
This report can be used by your current Webmaster as an outline to update the website or can by used by The Website Lady for a 'Website Deluxe Makeover'

3. Website Deluxe Content Makeover
After the Website Content Makeover has been completed, and upon approval, the changes outlined in the Step 2, 'Website Makeover' will be implemented.
The Website Deluxe Content Makeover will include changes to the following:
Pages
- Text
- Images
- Navigation
- Links
This can be done in two ways:
Firstly, The Website Lady can make the changes to your website content directly using your existing Content Management System (CMS). Your own images can be used, or if not available, The Website Lady can source suitable images for your website from Royalty Free Graphic sites.
Secondly, if you do not have a CMS the entire website can be created in Microsoft Word (including hyperlinks) and your Webmaster can implement the changes 'word-for-word'.
